Factions are powerful organizations locked in a struggle to control Aeternum. Pledge your allegiance to either the Marauders, the Syndicate, or the Covenant. Each Faction has a unique set of principles. Faction members can help you complete quests and fend off danger throughout the Eternal Isle.

One-Handed Weapons
There are four one-handed weapons waiting for you to master:
Hatchet
Rapier
Flail
Sword
Whether you prefer support tactics alongside of the Flail, want to tank with the Sword and Shield, or focus on dealing damage through the Hatchet or Rapier, there’s a weapon and customization for every type of playstyle.
Factions
Your fellow members might gift you gear for easier progression, take a few swings at powerful enemies, or revive you in chance encounters while traveling to their next destination. Lend a hand to help your Faction thrive.
Here’s a brief overview of all three Factions:
The Marauders are a ruthless military force bent on establishing a free nation where anyone with the strength to do so can prosper and profit.
The Syndicate is a secretive organization of boundless guile and intellect in search of forbidden knowledge to usher in a new age of enlightenment.
The Covenant is a fanatical order that has charged itself with cleansing the land of heretics and defilers so that its true holy nature can flourish and justice can be restored.
Even if you are a lone explorer braving the wilds of Aeternum solo, being part of a Faction means you always have someone on your side, especially if you want to wage War on other territories and expand your Faction’s control. After selecting a Faction, you can accept missions from your Faction representative in any Settlement for rewards like Faction-themed gear.
