The length of the Free Trial is 4 hours.

On Xbox Series X|S, the Free Trial period begins when you first launch the game.

On PlayStation 5, the Free Trial period begins when you first log in to a server with a character.

Characters created during the Free Trial period, and their associated progress, including any in-game store purchases, persist after full game purchase. All in-game store purchases (during and after the Free Trial period) are non-refundable and non-returnable.

The Free Trial will not be available on Steam (PC).

Yes, to be eligible to participate in the Free Trial, Xbox Series X|S players must have a Game Pass Core subscription.

Yes, to be eligible to participate in the Free Trial, PlayStation 5 players must have a PlayStation Plus Essential subscription.

The Free Trial includes all playable content in New World: Aeternum, with the following limitations:

• The Trading Post is unavailable

• Player to player trading is restricted to receive only

• Players cannot deposit to, or withdraw from, any Company treasury

• Players cannot tip players after they complete a song

Otherwise, the Free Trial experience will be the exact same as the retail experience.

After four hours, the Free Trial period will end and the player will be presented with the option to purchase New World: Aeternum.

If the player purchases New World: Aeternum, all characters, in-game items, and experience gained during the Free Trial will transfer to the full game account.
